"The Bridge" - by John Falter
|
As part of the Bicentennial Celebration in 1976, the U.S. Bicentennial
Commission commissioned several well-known and
respected artists to create paintings and artwork to celebrate
the Bicentennial. One of these authorized works was "The
Bridge," by John Falter, which depicts colonial militia and volunteers
fighting the British at Concord Bridge. A limited number
of prints were produced and sold in order to help fund
bicentennial activities. These high quality prints quickly sold
out and have been unavailable for many years. However,
Gun Owners of New Hampshire, Inc. has secured permission
to produce a special limited run of the original print.
This is not some cheap copy, but an authentic quality artprint
using original negatives and processing, printed on non-acidic
heavyweight paper in bold and vibrant colors. Rich in detail
and symbolism, this print will surely become a collectible heirloom
that you and your family will cherish for many, many years.
